Far-Left Rep. Colin Allred Threatens to Call Police on Reporter for Asking Questions

Ex-NFL player turned Democrat Congressman Colin Allred couldn't be bothered to answer a few simple questions from a reporter, and instead conveyed to him that he doesn’t understand how federal property works.

After the reporter asked multiple times if Allred regrets calling for the release of millions of dollars to Hamas, Allred fired back “I’ll get the Capitol police for you. You’re on federal property, stop doing this.” 

Video and audio recordings are permitted in the public areas of the House and Senate office buildings, of which the video was taken. 

"Do you regret fighting against iron dome funding when Hamas attacks civilians using rockets?" the reporter followed up. “Why are you standing with Hamas over Israel? Why are you supporting Biden’s open border policies?”

“We will get the Capitol Police for you.”

The video was obtained by the Daily Caller, but it’s unclear who the reporter questioning Allred is. The reporter was referring to a letter that Allred co-signed in June 2021 urging the Biden admin to release millions of dollars to the West Bank. If Allred were smart, he could’ve gotten a soundbite for himself by firing back at the reporter that the West Bank is run by Fatah, not Hamas (but of course, that would still be missing the point, as the concern was that funds would eventually make their way to Hamas). 

An internal memo from the State Department in March 2021 explained that “Due to its overall strength and level of control over Gaza, we assess there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza.” - and then concluded that “notwithstanding this risk” it should be provided anyway.
