Fire Alarm Rep. Goes Up in Smoke
Far-left Representative Jamaal Bowman lost his primary by a humiliating margin last night, making him the first Democrat to lose a seat in a primary this year.
As the New York Post reported:
Westchester County Executive George Latimer sent Rep. Jamaal Bowman packing from Congress Tuesday night, defeating the far-left “Squad” member in the 16th District’s Democratic primary.
Latimer, 70, will be heavily favored to defeat Republican Madeline Brame in the Nov. 5 general election to represent the deep-blue Bronx and Westchester constituency.
Bowman’s four-year House tenure will come to an end following the most expensive congressional primary ever in terms of ad spending — a race which pitted pro-Bowman groups like Justice Democrats and the Working Families Party against an alliance of moderates turned off by the incumbent’s stances, mainly on Israel.
As of writing, Latimer has 58.4% of the vote to Bowman’s 41.6%.
Ahead of election day, Bowman made headlines alongside fellow far-leftist Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez as cringe-inducing footage of the two dancing and/or rapping at a campaign rally in the Bronx went viral.
But it’s somehow even more embarrassing than that.
The Bronx only makes up a small sliver of Bowman’s district, and as NewsNation host Dan Abrams pointed out, Bowman behaves like a completely different person in the more affluent parts of his district, proving just how much of a pandering hack he truly is:
He won’t be missed.
