After being dismissed for nearly a year, the theory that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology is finally being taken seriously.
Former CDC director Robert Redfield is convinced that the virus escaped from a lab, and said during an interview with Martha MacCallum that when he raised concerns he “was very rapidly sidelined, threatened, and you know really put on, sort of outed,” due to his views.
He was the only person at the CDC actually looking to “follow the science,” it seems.
