Former White House physician Ronnie Jackson and 13 Republican members of Congress put out a letter urging Joe Biden to take a cognitive test.

Given the precedent set and President Biden’s CLEAR mental struggles, I believe it’s past time he take a cognitive test.

The letter read in part,
“We write to you today to express concern with your cognitive state. …We believe that, regardless of gender, age, or political party, all presidents should follow the precedent set by former President Trump to document and demonstrate sound mental abilities. …Certain behaviors that signal someone that should take the exam include ‘patients repeating themselves, losing car keys frequently, forgetting recent events, and multiple instances of forgetting conversations.’ Unfortunately, your forgetfulness and cognitive difficulties have been prominently on display over the past year.”
Jackson went on Hannity last night to elaborate further:
The reason Joe Biden doesn’t want to take this test is the same reason he ran a stunted campaign for President and the same reason he doesn’t take a lot of questions from reporters. He’s a 78-year-old man who has mentally slipped. He has been a politician for nearly his whole life and yes, he can grin, pop off a few banalities and handle a short speech without sounding like he needs a full-time caretaker, but that’s when he’s fresh. If he gets tired and gets pushed a little, he forgets things, stumbles, and just can’t hack it. This is the man we’ve put in one of the most important and mentally demanding jobs on earth.
We want him to negotiate with the Russians and make policy decisions that will impact generations of Americans, but if you dropped him off three miles from the White House and made him try to figure out how to get back there without any help from his aides, could he make it back there or would they find him in an alley somewhere 5 hours later? We all know the answer and that’s why Kamala Harris seems very likely to take over from Biden before his term ends.
