Speaking during a press briefing earlier today, Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that the Biden administration’s goal is to close Guantanamo Bay. Earlier today the first detainee of the Biden administration was transferred out of Guantanamo to Morocco.
Psaki was also asked about the administration’s recent beef with Facebook. Psaki “clarified” that Biden isn’t at war with Biden a day after Biden called them murderers.
In response to the administration failing to meet their vaccination goal (which they blamed on Facebook), one journalist asked if perhaps more conservatives would get vaccinated if the Biden administration highlighted Trump’s role in Operation Warp Speed. Psaki deflected by pretending to not understand the question, lest any credit be given to Trump for anything.
