At long last, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), a political organization masquerading as a development program, may find itself deleted.
Call it the “Elon Effect” - support for axing the agency has amassed at a record pace. Just last Congress when Rep. Eli Crane introduced an amendment to simply reduce funding for USAID, every single Democrat and 114 Republicans voted against it.
There are countless tales of corruption that could be told when it comes to USAID - and George Soros (who has since handed over his empire to his son Alex) has his fingerprints over it.
Inevitably any defender of Soros will portray linking him to anything as a “conspiracy theory” (or even an “antisemitic” one), he’s already done that himself. A quarterly performance report from The Soros Foundations (report period: December 1993) shows a relationship with USAID going back decades.
The Soros Foundations Management Training Program ("SFMTP) received and signed Cooperative Agreement HEUR 0045 A 00 4007 00 from the United States Agency for International Development ("USAID") on November 19, 1993. In the first quarter, SFMTP staff in each of the five countries began open advertisement to professionals for the training available. In the US, SFMTP staff were introduced to USAID procedures and began recruitment of host companies.
The program was to train (indoctrinate) 30 “professionals” from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Estonia, and Slovakia in public administration, business, telecommunications, environmental management, and more. To point out the obvious; this is how Soros describes what the aid was for - he’s not going to admit to something too sinister in a document he knows will eventually be made public.
According to their evaluation of the program, “all goals were met.”
You can read the report for yourself here - on USAID’s own website.
Other early activities of Soros’ involvement with USAID include his International Renaissance Foundation partnering with them to support Ukraine’s “Orange Revolution,” the European country he’s “invested” more in than any other. Robert F. Kennedy revealed in an interview with Tucker Carlson last November that USAID also led the more violent Maidan Revolution in 2014 that ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
While USAID hadn’t been in the public eye for most until the past week, the Heritage Foundation in 2017 exposed Soros as the “main implementor” of their so-called aid since at least the start of the Obama administration. As they documented:
During the Obama years the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) was used to promote abroad policies that remain controversial within American society itself and that serve no clear national security interests. To achieve these ends, USAID has teamed up in some countries with groups funded by financier George Soros.
It was at this time that USAID started tying development money to countries taking progressive stances on gay/transgender rights, among other leftist causes including legalizing prostitution, and decriminalizing drugs. This happened to African countries, and European countries “from Ireland to Macedonia.”
A movement called “Stop Operation Soros” in Macedonia called on USAID to be audited and accused them of contributing to the political crisis in their country. Among Soros’ activities there included his foundation publishing a translated version of Saul Alinsky’s infamous book “Rules for Radicals” and having it distributed.
USAID was later sued by Judicial Watch in connection to $5 million in funds that they say went into the hands of Soros’ foundation in Macedonia.
From 2012 to 2016, about $5 million was spent in Macedonia, training hundreds of young Macedonians on topics such as freedom of association, youth politics, civic activism, persuasive argumentation and new media, informs Telegrafi. Macedonia.
Judicial Watch considers that there has been interference in the internal politics of Macedonia that could be included in the violation of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic relations.
Heritage echoes the same allegation; that USAID money is winding up directly in Soros’ hands;
It is Soros’s right as a private individual to act on his convictions, but evidence is emerging that during the past eight years [leading up to 2017], Soros, his Open Societies Foundations (OSF), and their many smaller affiliates have received U.S. taxpayer money through USAID and that USAID has made the OSF the main implementer of its aid.
This is a recurring allegation - and for good reason. In 2016 USAID was reported to have allocated $9 million to support left-wing activists in Albania in a project overseen by the Soros-funded East-West Management Institute - a group run by the ex-wife of current socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama, who Alex Soros regularly posts photos to his social media with. It's hard to deny that money is winding up in Soros' hands when it keeps ending up in his hands.
USAID also has close ties to, an (try not to laugh) “anti-corruption” projects of Soros (which, of course, just tries to take down political enemies by accusing them of being corrupt). Soros is a top donor to the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), which has published articles attacking Soros’ critics before. The OCCRP is cited numerous times in the whistleblower complaint that led to the first bogus Trump impeachment (Ukraine edition), just to give a glimpse of the kind of bogus “anti-corruption” work they’re doing.
USAID has the authority to veto appointment of “key personnel” to the OCCRP, which is odd for a supposedly independent anti-corruption NGO. OCCRP used to have a message on their website that read “OCCRP is made possible by” followed by the logo of USAID, but it was later removed, likely to try to conceal links between the two Soros-infested organizations.
Joe Biden had requested $30 billion for USAID in 2025, and it couldn’t be more obvious why.
In the words of Donald Trump: “USAID has been run by radical lunatics - and we are getting them out.”
