As of now, one rumored vice presidential pick for Democrat nominee Joe Biden may be off the list.
Stacey Abrams said on Wednesday’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, “I have said many times that if called I will answer, but I have not received any calls.”
Colbert then asked Abrams about a June 4th tweet from Washington Bureau Chief for American Urban Radio Networks April Ryan, which said that Abrams was one of the women being vetted.
Abrams said that she “look[s] forward to hearing from whomever April Ryan is speaking to.”
Biden says he expects to announce his running mate on August 1. Abrams has been rumored for a long time, but her only accomplishment has been losing her race for Georgia governor and then using her name ID to promote voter suppression conspiracies.
Quite an example of failing upward.
