GOP House Intel Cmte Members Issue Scathing Letter Urging Schiff to Resign as Chairman

Fight tech tyranny. Join Dan on Rumble.

Republican House Intelligence Committee members issued a scathing letter today calling for Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) to resign.

The letter slams Schiff for claiming to have evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, even after the Special Counsel investigation exonerated the campaign of such allegations.

“Despite [the Special Counsel’s] findings, you continue to claim to the media that there is “significant evidence of collusion.” Further you have stated you “will continue to investigate the counterintelligence issues, that is, is the president or people around him compromised in any way by hostile foreign power?” Your willingness to continue to promote a demonstrably false narrative is alarming,” the letter states.

The Republicans claim Schiff abused his position to “knowingly promote false information,” damaging the integrity of the Intelligence committee and undermining faith in U.S. government institutions.

“Your actions both past and present are incompatible with your duty as Chairman of this Committee,” the letter stated. “We have no faith in your ability to discharge your duties in a manner consistent with your Constitutional responsibility and urge your immediate resignation as Chairman of this Committee.”

The letter was signed by every single Republican member of the committee: Devin Nunes (CA), Michael Conaway (TX), Michael Turner (OH), Brad Wenstrup (OH), Chris Stewart (UT), Rick Crawford (AR.), Elise Stefanik (NY), Will Hurd (TX), and John Ratcliffe (TX).
