Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) slammed House Democrats for “undercutting” U.S. foreign policy efforts by holding a hearing with discredited former Trump attorney, Michael Cohen while President Trump is in Vietnam hosting a nuclear summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
“A new low for House Democrats: holding hearings with Michael Cohen while President Trump negotiates with North Korea about giving up their nuclear arsenal,” Graham said in a statement on Twitter.
“Democrats’ hatred of Trump is undercutting an important foreign policy effort and is way out of line. If Republicans had pulled such a stunt, the mainstream media would be outraged!”

President Trump and Kim Jong Un met in Vietnam today where they briefly addressed reporters. Trump said the two countries’ relationships had progressed greatly since their last meeting in Singapore.
“It’s an honor to be with Chairman Kim,” Trump said. “I thought the first summit was a great success and I think this one, hopefully, will be equal or greater than the first.”
Kim responded through his translator, “Those 261 days [since we met in Singapore] were the days during which a lot of painstaking efforts were necessary and a lot of patience was needed. As I see you here today…that gives us a hope that we will be successful this time…”
