The Kamala Harris trip to Guatemala did not go well. Before she even arrived, Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei blamed the Biden administration for illegal immigration by saying “The message changed to we’re going to reunite families and we’re going to reunite children. The very next day the coyotes were here organizing groups of children to take them to the United States.”
Unhappy protesters, including ones holding a “Kamala, Trump Won” banner greeted Harris upon her arrival.
Despite the fact that illegal immigration has turned into a crisis since Joe Biden was elected because his administration deliberately stopped practices from the Trump administration meant to discourage it, Kamala Harris has been ludicrously claiming things like global warming are at the root of the problem.
After being chastised before she even arrived by the Guatemalan President, although it must have pained her to do it, Harris explicitly asked Guatemalans not to come to the United States illegally. She said:
“I want to emphasize that the goal of our work is to help Guatemalans find hope at home, at the same time I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making the dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border — do not come, do not come. “The United States will continue to enforce our laws, and secure our border. There are legal methods by which migration can and should occur, but we, as one of our priorities, will discourage illegal migration. And I believe if you come to our border, you will be turned back.”
If she thinks climate change is somehow causing illegal immigration, how effective does she think asking them to “please stop” will be?
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who isn’t smart enough to see that this is all a dodge, actually criticized Kamala Harris for telling people not to come to America illegally. She called the comments from Harris, “disappointing to see” and added: “First, seeking asylum at any US border is a 100% legal method of arrival. Second, the US spent decades contributing to regime change and destabilization in Latin America. We can’t help set someone’s house on fire and then blame them for fleeing.”
Then, to top it all off, Harris was mask shamed by the Guatemalan President.

This is just a reminder that Kamala Harris is every bit as weak and incompetent as Joe Biden, so even if she replaces him, we’ll still have inept leadership in the White House.
