ABC News claimed to be bringing fact-checking to the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, but we only really were given âopinion checking,â and only ever against Trump.
It was to be expected - one of the two moderators, David Muir, hosts a show where a whopping 100% of coverage of Kamala Harris is positive, and 93% of coverage of Trump is negative. Not even the phrasing of the question was without bias, which were often framed along the lines of âMrs. Harris, a recent report found that Donald Trump is Satan - what are your thoughts?â
There were countless lies from Harris among them including lying about growing up middle class, claiming Trump wants a national sales tax, linked Trump to Project 2025, claimed Trump would sign a national abortion ban, claimed 9 month abortions don't exist, mischaracterized the SCOTUSâ immunity ruling, denied helping bail out rioters in the 2020 George Floyd riots, pushed the long-debunked âvery fine peopleâ hoax from Charlottesville, mischaracterized Trumpâs comments about there being a âbloodbathâ if he loses, took comments Trump made about Putin out of context, falsely claimed he was find liable for sexual assault, denied ever supporting defund the police - and much, much more.
