Hillary Clinton Says She’s “Sick” Thinking About Trump Getting Reelected

Today is Hillary Clinton’s birthday, and before the end of the night Amy Coney Barrett is set to be confirmed to the Supreme Court.

It’s not the gift she wanted – and it’s yet another reminder of the consequences to her party her 2016 election loss has caused. ACB’s confirmation will represent but the third Supreme Court justice Hillary would’ve been able to pick had she bothered to visit Wisconsin.

Hillary reportedly stood stone faced during her election night loss while her supporters could be seen openly weeping – and her greatest fear right now is another repeat of that eight days from now.

Just like last election cycle, the conventional wisdom is that Trump’s loss is a virtual guarantee due the polls. But even Biden’s internal campaign memos warn that the polls are inflated, and that the race is far closer than advertised. Hillary must be having some of the same doubt too.

According to the Daily Wire:

Clinton told New York Times Opinion podcast host Kara Swisher on Sunday that “most Republicans are going to want to close the page” and “want to see [Trump] gone as much as we do, but they can’t say it publicly.”

Most Republicans, Clinton claimed, “have been cowards, spineless enablers” of the president.

The former secretary of state also said it makes her “literally sick” to her stomach to think about Trump winning a second term in the White House.

Clinton told Swisher she “can’t entertain the idea of him winning. … It would cause cognitive dissonance of a grave degree.”

“[I]t makes me literally sick to my stomach to think that we’d have four more years of this abuse and destruction of our institutions,” she added. “And damaging of our norms and our values. And lessening of our leadership. And the list goes on.”

So in case anyone needed any more excuses to get out and vote, there you have it.
