Hillary Clinton Thanks Andrew Cuomo For “Keeping People Safe”
In a very meaningful Memorial Day tweet that lacked any mention of what we’re actually memorializing, not-president Hillary Clinton praised New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for “responsible leadership” and “keeping people safe” during the Wuhan virus (from China) pandemic.
I'm missing our Chappaqua Memorial Day parade today while also feeling grateful to leaders like @NYGovCuomo for making responsible decisions to keep people safe.

The lack of self-awareness is something to behold.
Aside from Clinton’s tweet showing no commemoration of anyone who died protecting the nation and instead showing pictures of her and Bill laughing with Cuomo, Cuomo’s asinine policies requiring nursing homes to take in COVID-19-positive patients likely caused an epidemic in itself.
A recent analysis by the Associated Press showed that at least 4,300 of these patients were sent back following Cuomo’s March order, presumably thereafter infecting thousands of others:
AP compiled its own tally to find out how many COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals to nursing homes under the March 25 directive after New York’s Health Department declined to release its internal survey conducted two weeks ago. It says it is still verifying data that was incomplete.
Whatever the full number, nursing home administrators, residents’ advocates and relatives say it has added up to a big and indefensible problem for facilities that even Gov. Andrew Cuomo — the main proponent of the policy — called “the optimum feeding ground for this virus.”
Republican congressional candidate Chele Farley blamed Cuomo for “hundreds of deaths” alone in the Albany-area district where she is running, in a letter urging AG Bill Barr to look into the governor’s order.
New York also managed to export the virus nationwide:
But, of course, when Cuomo’s watchdog is his CNN anchor brother, don’t expect this news to spread as fast as it should.
To quote the two-time presidential loser, “what difference at this point does it make?”
