In what’s either Joe Biden’s latest brain malfunction, or attempt to be relatable, he claimed that he used to drive 18-wheeler trucks while visiting a Mack Truck facility in Pennsylvania.
The comments immediately raised eyebrows, as driving an 18-wheeler requires a special license, and this prior career was something never mentioned before.
When pressed for evidence, a White House spokesperson cited a 1973 article from the Wilmington Evening Journal that said Biden once rode in an 18-wheeler on a 536-mile ride to Ohio. When pressed if they understood the difference between driving and riding a vehicle, the spokesperson then cited a United Federation of Teachers post that mentioned Biden driving a school bus for a summer job. School busses do not have 18 wheels.
