Influence-Peddling Hunter Biden Attends White House Meetings

Hunter Biden — the president's drug-addicted son who skipped out on child support, dodged federal income taxes, and is embroiled in an influence-peddling scandal with American foreign adversaries — is apparently running the country. Hunter has reportedly been participating in President Joe Biden’s meetings with top White House aides since Joe bombed his debate with Trump last Thursday. Unnamed sources also told NBC News that Hunter has been personally conversing with senior White House staff. 

Per NBC News: 

“While he is regularly at the White House residence and events, it is unusual for Hunter Biden to be in and around meetings that his father is having with his team, [anonymous sources] said. They said the president’s aides were struck by his presence during their discussions.”

According to White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Hunter was simply helping his father “speech prep.” She added that Biden family members are around more this week due to the 4th of July holiday. 

Don’t buy these explanations. 

For years, Hunter has received millions in foreign cash, likely in exchange for influence over American foreign policy via his father. As journalist Kate Hyde alleged following the NBC report, “Hunter has to make sure all of ‘Biden’s’ decisions over the next few weeks don’t hurt their foreign partners before he’s tossed from the Presidency.” 

The news throws a wrench in the left’s insistence that Hunter has no power over his father let alone the executive branch. “For years, the corrupt Biden family and regime media swore that Hunter—who collected millions from shady foreign oligarchs wanting government favors—had zero role or influence in the White House,” pointed out Federalist CEO Sean Davis. “And now we find out he’s basically running the country. I wonder how much the communist Chinese are paying the Biden family for that.” 

The New York Times reported that Hunter is currently “one of the strongest voices” urging Joe to stay in the race. Of course, he is. Hunter has a crooked and personal vested interest in his father remaining president. Joe’s powerful position allows Hunter and the other Bidens to carry on their influence-peddling operation. It also means he and other Biden family members embroiled in the scandal are shielded from criminal investigations and charges.
