Where’s Hunter? After releasing a statement through his lawyer over the weekend announcing he was resigning from the Chinese backed Investment Firm, he emerged in an interview which aired this morning on Good Morning America.

After a clip of President Trump asking “Where’s Hunter” was played at his rally in Minnesota last week, Hunter Biden said, “I’m here, I’m working and I’m living my life” and claimed that no, he is not in hiding. He also said he never discussed his business on Ukraine with his dad, the only interaction was that Joe told Hunter “I hope you know what you’re doing.” Hunter said his father learned that he joined Burisma from reading about it.

What role did the fact that he was the son of the Vice President play? He admitted it’s impossible not to tell any board he sits on that he is the Vice President’s son. When asked about being paid $50,000 a month in that position, the younger Biden got pretty defensive. “Look, I’m a private citizen, one thing that I don’t have to do is sit here and open my kimono as it relates to how much money I make or made or did or didn’t.”

When asked if his last name was not Biden would he have been asked to be on the board of Burisma, Hunter admitted, “probably not.” Then added, “I don’t think there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden.” He said he resigned from sitting on the board because of the obvious answer that it’s a distraction and “I have to sit here and answer these questions.”

Biden expressed his frustration that he feels like he fell down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland where President Trump can say anything he wants, referring to the 1.5 billion dollar payment from China which he denies. Welcome to the rabbit hole, Hunter. Not fun, is it? Perhaps you should let your father and his colleagues know that it isn’t right to “say anything they want.” In conclusion, it seems like Hunter wished he had avoided this whole scenario, “I made a mistake, in retrospect as it related to creating any perception that was wrong, therefore I’m taking it off the table.”

What did President Trump think of Biden’s coming out of hiding? Trump tweeted: “Hunter Biden was really bad on @GMA. Now Sleepy Joe has real problems! Reminds me of Crooked Hillary and her 33,000 deleted Emails, not recoverable!”
