In the spirit of the Democrats’ fairy tale impeachment efforts against President Trump, one Democratic House manager quoted a Harry Potter character during his closing arguments yesterday.
Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) discussed the importance of teaching children valuable life lessons.
“There are a lot of things outside our control but my wife and I have tried to teach our kids that what we can always control are our choices,” he said.
He continued, It’s in that spirit that hanging in my son’s room is a quote from Harry Potter. The quote is from Professor Dumbledore, ‘It is our choices that show who we truly are far more than our abilities.’”

That wasn’t the only ridiculous moment from yesterday’s closing arguments.
Adam Schiff resorted to his typical fear-mongering tactics and claimed that if the president isn’t impeached he might, “offer Alaska to the Russians in exchange for support in the next election, or decide to move to Mar-A-Lago permanently and leave Jared Kushner to run the country, delegating to him the decision whether they go to war.”
“Because those things are not necessarily criminal, this argument would allow that he could not be impeached for such abuses of power. Of course, this would be absurd. More than absurd, it would be dangerous,” he warned.

House manager Rep. Hakeem Jeffires (D-NY) was so desperate to impeach President Trump, he invoked the late Senator John McCain (R-AZ) in his closing arguments.
“As you are all are aware, Sen. McCain was a great supporter of Ukraine, a great supporter of Europe, a great supporter of our troops. Senator McCain understood the importance of this body, this distinguished body and serving the public,” he said.
