Iran announced it would be enriching uranium up to 20% at an underground facility on Monday and seized a South Korean flagged oil tanker. This comes on the heels of threats against Trump’s life over his targeted killing of Iranian terrorist Qassem Soleimani. The head of Iran’s judiciary, Ebrahim Raisi made the following comments,
“They will witness severe revenge. What has come so far has only been glimpses. Do not presume that someone, as the president of America, who appeared as a murderer or ordered a murder, may be immune from justice being carried out. Never. Those who had a role in this assassination and crime will not be safe on Earth.”
So, why is Iran acting up now? Because they believe Trump is about to leave office and a much weaker, more predictable Joe Biden will be taking over. They know that not only will Biden be unlikely to retaliate, causing trouble gives them an excuse to start up talks and have Biden give them things in return for promises that they don’t intend to keep.
Contrary to the impression you might get from the crazy act they put on, Iran does at least understand which party is dangerous to them and which party will roll over and surrender. This is why, for example, Iran released American hostages right after Reagan was elected. Liberals came up with conspiracy theories to explain it, but it was simple. Iran knew Carter was soft and weak and Reagan might bomb them. They did the math and released the hostages. The same goes now. Trump is unpredictable and scary while Biden is a puppy-dog who will roll over on command.
Liberals always seem to take it as a great compliment that foreign nations prefer Democrats to be in office, but it’s actually a huge insult. The rest of the world correctly believes liberals lack strength and won’t safeguard America’s interests. So, if a Democrat is in charge, these nations know they can take advantage of America. That’s why no matter whether you’re China, Iran, or even France, you root for Democrats to be in charge.
