During an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to explain what NORAD was, and then concluded her answer by mispronouncing “Canada.”
When asked by the host “Why is the American military shooting something over the sky in Canada," Jean-Pierre replied "Because it's part of NORAD. There's, uh, the NORAD is part of like a, part of a—it's a, it's a, what you call, a coalition, a consortium... We did it clearly in step with Canadia."

During recent briefings on Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal, Jean-Pierre has, at times, simply refused to answer questions outright. As embarrassing as that is for a press secretary, it somehow looks better than whatever it was she was trying to say here.
