Jerry Nadler Declares Months Long Violent Portland Riots a “Myth”

Portland has completed their sixtieth day of riots, but in the world of Jerry Nadler the city is carrying on business as usual.

The liberal media (also known as “the media”) has at least acknowledged that there has been violence in the protests, opting to describe them with a new Orwellian term – “mostly peaceful.” The term is so absurd that it could also technically be used to describe most murderers, who, after all, spend 99.9% of their lives not murdering.

Nadler, meanwhile, has decided to socially distance himself from reality and decide that denial is the most viable strategy to defend his ideological counterparts.

According to the Daily Wire:

Nadler was approached by journalist Austen Fletcher and asked if he disavowed the violent riots.

“It is true. There’s violence across the whole country,” Fletcher said. “Do you disavow the violence from Antifa that’s happening in Portland right now? There’s riots—”

“That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, D.C.,” Nadler claimed without evidence.

“About Antifa in Portland?” Fletcher pressed.

“Yes—” Nadler once again claimed without evidence.
