In a political self-own so perfect it’s almost hard to believe, Kansas Democrat State Representative Aaron Coleman was charged with DUI just hours after calling for the expulsion of two colleagues over their past DUI charges.

On November 26th at 8:00PM, Coleman tweeted about fellow Democrat Rep. Brandon Woodard, calling for his expulsion for two prior DUIs (in 2012 and 2014).

Minutes later, Coleman called for the expulsion of Vic Miller, also a fellow Democrat charged with DUI in 2019.

And merely five hours later, Coleman himself was added to the growing list of Kansas Democrat Reps. charged with DUI.

He has not yet issued a tweet calling for his own expulsion.

As Fox News reports:

The Democrat leader of the Kansas House of Representatives called on Rep. Aaron Coleman to step down after his colleague’s arrest Saturday [November 27th] for allegedly driving under the influence.

Coleman was nabbed on Saturday at about 1 a.m. on Interstate 70. The 21-year-old had been out on bond from an arrest in October on allegations of misdemeanor battery. He allegedly threatened to attack his grandfather and is accused of hitting and spitting on his brother.

Gov. Laura Kelly, the Democrat, also called on his resignation and said state lawmakers should act if he does not leave on his own. She called the most recent arrest “further evidence that he is not fit to serve.”

We wish the Kansas Democrats the best of luck in finding a designated driver.
