Former MSNBC commentator and sports analyst Keith Olbermann has always been a little on the hair-trigger crazy side, but calling for his political enemies to be arrested and removed from office is insane even for him. Yet and still…
It is necessary to remove, and arrest, the president of the United States. Tonight.

TRUMP HAS LOST HIS MIND AND MUST BE REMOVED, TONIGHT. The coup attempt, we can survive. A mentally incompetent president, we may not. Instead, he will stay, and when he concedes he will simultaneously begin a campaign for 2024.

You may be thinking, “Wow, what’s his argument for that?” Well, if you enjoy suffering, feel free to watch his video and you won’t find one other than the fact that he hates Trump and all of his supporters. He doesn’t even make an argument for it. It’s just incredibly irresponsible Twitter trolling on video.
This is actually a strategy that people use to build a media presence. You say the meanest, craziest, most irresponsible things you can imagine. If it gets attention, tens of thousands of people condemn you, BUT you also get large numbers of new followers that either agree or like to watch car crashes. Rinse and repeat endlessly and you’re Keith Olbermann, who is a wealthy household name in sports and politics with 992k followers. Granted, you have to be a little bit of a sociopath to pull it off, but that’s probably not an issue for Olbermann.
That being said, the fact that we have created a system that makes behaving like that something that will be rewarded is bad for our whole society. The country needs fewer people like Keith Olbermann and more sane, responsible, logical, ethical people that aren’t willing to behave like that just to get attention.
