So desperate is election denier Karine Jean-Pierre to fearmonger about right-wing election denial that she's going as far as to declare that Republicans won't be accepting the results of elections that every poll suggests they're going to dominate next week.
In a nation where the polls routinely underestimate support for Republicans, any poll showing a GOP advantage is worse than it seems for Democrats.
In previewing Joe Biden's divisive speech last night, KJP said during a briefing "Look, the President, again, is making this speech because we’re seeing an alarming number of Republican — Republican officials who are saying — they’re being very clear — they’re not going to accept the results of these elections. That’s a problem."
Watch below:
As of writing, the bookies are giving the GOP a nearly 70% chance of retaking the Senate, and nearly 90% chance of retaking the House. They also expect Republicans to pick up another two Governorships, which would result in 30 states being led by Republican governors, and 20 by Democrats.
Even blue districts are moving in the GOP's favor, with the Cook Political Report shifting another ten to the right earlier this week.
That the GOP would be unwilling to accept the results of elections that they're expected to win is a bizarre talking point to hear from Jean-Pierre, though to be fair, her job does require her to pretend that everything is A-OK for Democrats heading into midterms.
Ironically, we can expect to see Democrat election denial spring up immediately afterwards if they do lose as expected, and probably from Jean-Pierre herself. Even with record voter turnout for early voting this election cycle, Jean-Pierre is still claiming "voter suppression," which we can inevitably expect to see blamed for Democrats' looming losses next week, facts be damned.
