The latest Times Square billboards by the conservative Job Creators Network mocks the Green New Deal and “farting cows.”
The first billboard reads, “Hey AOC, the Green New Deal stinks,” with the second billboard reading “Maybe it’s those farting cows? LOL.”
The second billboard also addresses the high estimated cost of the plan, which ranges from $51 to $93 trillion. “Cost of GND= $51,000,000,000, 000 (wow that’s a lot of zeroes)” the sign states.
Sorry, @AOC, but your #GreenRawDeal doesn’t pass the smell test! https://t.co/W1be6voFGv #SocialismTakesCapitalismCreates

The billboard also promotes the website, TheGreenRawDeal.com for more information.
“Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and many of her friends in Congress are pushing for a new socialist policy: The Green New Deal. This so-called ‘deal’ reads like a socialist wish list,” the website reads.
“The deal, when launched proposed eliminating air travel, nuclear energy, and ‘farting cows’; replacing every building in the U.S. with a ‘green’ alternative, and providing ‘economic security’ for ‘all who are unable or unwilling to work’—among other measures,” the site continues.
According to the Washington Free Beacon, a new study by the American Action Forum offers a “conservative” estimate of the costs associated with providing free housing, education, health care, and government backed jobs, among other socialist dream items.
The Free Beacon reports:
“The American Action Forum calculated guaranteed green housing would cost between $1.6 trillion and $4.2 trillion; a federal jobs guarantee between $6.8 trillion and $44.6 trillion; a net zero emissions transportation system between $1.3 trillion and $2.7 trillion; a low-carbon electricity grid for $5.4 trillion; and “food security” for $1.5 billion.
Enough high-speed rail “to make air travel unnecessary,” would cost roughly $1.1 to $2.5 trillion. Universal Health Care, or a Medicare-for-all type plan, would cost $36 trillion over 10 years, totaling $260,000 per household in the United States.”
