Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) announced on The Sean Hannity Show that he will be donating $500,000 to Donald Trump’s reelection campaign as they prepare to fight it out in the courts. Graham said,
“I’m here tonight to stand with President Trump. He stood with me; he’s the reason we’re gonna have a Senate majority. My race was overwhelming. He helped Senate Republicans. We’re gonna pick up House seats because of the campaign that President Trump won.”
The money is coming from Graham’s campaign account. It was leftover from the $100 million dollars he raised in his successful, but tight, Senate race versus Jaime Harrison.
As someone who has often criticized Lindsey Graham over the years, it’s nice to see him standing up. You never quite know if you going to get the squishy John McCain-lite Lindsey Graham or the same Maddog Lindsey Graham that so memorably defended Brett Kavanaugh when the Democrats were smearing him. You remember that Lindsey Graham, right?

We could use more of THAT Lindsey Graham and it’s good to see him showing that side of himself. Other Republicans should follow his lead not out of loyalty to Trump, but to show conservatives that are justifiably concerned about the integrity of the election that they take it seriously, too.
