Multiple mainstream media outlets have failed to report on the explosive sexual harassment allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
According to the Media Research Center, broadcast news outlets such as CBS, NBC, and ABC have all neglected the story.
From the New York Post:
CBS, NBC and ABC were all silent on Sunday night â the same day Cuomoâs former aide Lindsey Boylan tweeted out the claims against her ex-boss, according to the Media Research Center.
The group said the same networksâ Monday morning news shows also failed to report on the allegations, which Cuomo has denied.
Fox News, meanwhile, ran a report on the news at about 6:10 p.m. Sunday.
Boylan, who worked as Cuomoâs deputy secretary of economic development from March 2015 to October 2018, made the allegations in a tweet Sunday. She claimed Cuomo had âsexually harassedâ her âfor years,â and that he would often criticize her looks instead of focusing on her job performance.
In a subsequent tweet, Boylan said that ânot knowing what to expectâ when she got to work was the âmost upsetting part,â and that she knows she is ânot the only womanâ to face harassment from the governor.
Not knowing what to expect whatâs the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it.
No one.
And I *know* I am not the only woman.

Boylan is now running for Manhattan borough president.
Cuomo, who in the past has called on people to believe allegations women make against men in power, has denied Boylanâs allegations.
âLook, I fought for and I believe a woman has a right to come forward and express her opinion, and express issues and concerns that she has. But itâs just not true,” Cuomo said when questioned about the allegations by reporters during his daily briefing.
Of course, this isnât the only time mainstream media outlets have attempted to ignore stories harmful to Democrats. After an Axios report last week claimed Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell may have been compromised by an alleged Chinese spy early in his political career, most mainstream outlets didnât find the revelations particularly newsworthy.
From Fox News:
However, despite having been a loyal guest on MSNBC and CNN for three years to promote the Russia investigation — including allegations about President Trump being an “agent” of the Kremlin — the latest Swalwell news received almost no attention from the cable news outlets on Tuesday.
MSNBC spent roughly five minutes on Axios’ reporting during the network’s 5 a.m. program on Tuesday without mentioning it again for the rest of the day. Meanwhile, CNN completely avoided the story altogether, both on-air and online.
After CNN initially ignored the story, Swalwell joined the liberal network on Wednesday morning to respond to the report.
Fox News also pointed out that broadcast networks ABC, CBS, and NBC âall skippedâ covering the story, while major newspapers such as the New York Times and Washington Post showed little interest as well.
But perhaps the most egregious example of media malpractice came in October, when mainstream media outlets teamed with social media giants Facebook and Twitter to completely kill a New York Post story about Hunter Bidenâs overseas business ventures just weeks before the 2020 Election.
Now that the election is over, media outlets have been more willing to cover the fact that Biden is indeed under federal investigation for potential money laundering and his foreign business dealings.
