On Saturday evening pro-Trump groups clashed with Antifa, resulting in one man wearing a “Patriot Prayer” hat named Aaron Danielson being gunned down on the streets. Danielson was surrounded by Antifa before being shot, who celebrated his death in the immediate aftermath.

Joe Biden, who waited three months to condemn violent riots, immediately blamed the shooting on Donald Trump before we knew anything about the identity of the shooter. Michael Forest Reinoehl was later arrested for the murder. Reinoehl was previously arrested last month at an Antifa riot and was charged with possessing an illegal firearm among other crimes, but he was released and the charges were never perused. If they were, it’s likely be wouldn’t have been on the streets at all, but law and order has been lost in Portland.

As Andy Ngo reports, Reinoehl’s association with Antifa is self-professed, and he has openly called for violence previously:

On Instagram, Reinoehl posted in June: “Every revolution needs people that are willing and ready to fight. There are many of us protesters that are just protesting without a clue of where that will lead. That’s just the beginning that’s where the fight starts. If that’s as far and you can take it thank you for your participation but please stand aside and support the ones that are willing to fight. I am 100% ANTIFA all the way! I am willing to fight for my brothers and sisters! Even if some of them are too ignorant to realize what antifa truly stands for.”

He continued: “We are currently living through a crucial point in Humanities evolution. We truly have an opportunity right now to fix everything. But it will be a fight like no other! It will be a war and like all wars there will be casualties.”

Reinoehl also touted his military experience and desire for armed conflict: “I was in the army and hated it. I did not feel like fighting for them would ever be a good cause. Today’s protesters and antifa are my brothers in arms. This is a Cause to fight for This truly is fighting for my country!”

Like Biden, Portland’s Mayor Ted Wheeler also blames Trump for the violence in his city, but has rejected federal help in quashing the violence every time it has been offered.

Even when its the far-left causing the violence, the leaders helping to fuel it still find a way to blame it on Trump.
