Maxine Waters Says Treatment of Illegals at Border “Worse Than Slavery”
Political hyperbole reached a record for the year as Representative and amateur scholar on the antebellum south Maxine Waters authoritatively declared that America enforcing our borders now surpasses the cruelty of slavery.
Waters said “I’m pissed. I’m unhappy and I’m not just unhappy with the cowboys who were running down Haitians and using their reins to whip them. I’m [unhappy] with the administration. We are following the Trump policy … he is the one that does not follow the constitution and would not allow those seeking refuge to petition to get into the country. What the hell are we doing here?”
Her comments were based on the widely circulated bogus reports that border patrol agents were armed with whips and were whipping Haitians attempting to cross the border illegally. The “whip” claims were quickly debunked by people that posses eyeballs and knowledge of what horse reins are, but still believed by those crafting the national narrative.
She continued “What we witnessed takes us back hundreds of years. What we witnessed was worse than what we witnessed in slavery … cowboys with their reins, again, whipping black people.”
