McEnany Slams Leftist Goya Boycott, Calls it “Basket of Deplorable Politics”

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany appeared on Fox & Friends and slammed the Leftist backlash over Goya CEO Robert Unanue’s egregious sin of praising President Trump.

McEnany said:

“This is the kind of basket of deplorables politics that the Left routinely engages in. They will shame anyone who associates with this administration, but the silent majority stand strong and it’s shameful what they did to Bob.”

“Bob is the absolute embodiment of the American dream and a great man and it’s very shameful what the left does,” McEnany continued.  “This is cancel culture. If you associate with this president, if you associate with the Republican Party, we’ve got to cancel you out of this society, deride you, demonize you in a very personal way.”

Unanue spoke at a Hispanic Prosperity Initiative at the White House on Thursday and said that Americans were “truly blessed” to have Trump as a leader. As a result, Leftists called for a boycott of Goya, while others stated that they’d buy more Goya products.

Luckily, Unanue is standing his ground and refuses to apologize, calling the Left’s reaction “oppression of speech.”

Unanue is one of the few who haven’t groveled in front of the Leftist mob. And, like McEnany, we should all be giving patriots like him the support he deserves.
