- 42 have no business experience whatsoever.
- Only one in six have business experience.
- 20 top officials have law as their primary field, 21 have politics/government, 12 have academia/policy, and 3 have consulting/public relations.

To name just a few examples; Pete Buttigieg went from being the mayor of a town with just north of 100,000 residents to having oversight of a $1 trillion indsutry, and is in charge of dealing with supply chain issues at the nation's ports, and our transportation infrastructure, HHS Secretary Xavier Beccerra is a lawyer, and our Energy Secretary was the Governor of Michigan, and doesn't seem to know much of anything about energy.
The average amount of experience for Biden's appointees comes out to only 2.4 years. By contrast, Donald Trump's cabinet averaged over 10 years of business experience per member.
