As the rest of the media emphasizes her “girl power” (whatever that means), one MSNBC guest argued that Kamala Harris being mixed race is another super power she possesses.
While Harris has historically only emphasized one of her identities at a time to pander to specific groups, she’s now emphasized being mixed race to appeal to multiple groups now that she's running for president.
And according to this MSNBC guest, Harris being mixed race has another benefit; stopping Vladimir Putin.
“Kamala Harris would be the opposite” he told former RINO turned Nicole Wallace. “Why? Because she’s an inspiration. Not only is she positive - she brings hope and optimism - but as a black women, the product of a mixed marriage, she will inspire millions of people throughout the world. Our credibility as a nation, that we would be able to allow this woman to be commander in chief, the president.”
Apparently he thinks the rest of the world is just as obsessed with DEI and anti-racism as a religion as he is.
He continued; “That is going to send a powerful message all over the world. People like Vladimir Putin are going to say ‘hey wait a minute, these guys have a truly Democratic country, they truly are representative, they’re fighting for all their people, and Kamala Harris is a manifestation of that.”

Given that the Russian government puts out propaganda openly mocking American wokeness, it seems more likely that the idea someone would be viewed as a threat to Putin simply because of their race and gender would be laughable to him - and probably any other Russian too.
Russia has passed “anti-LGBTQ propaganda” laws and has an african population of 0.02% overall, so they’re unlikely to be scared for any reason that has to do with american-style woke politics.
Ironically, Putin endorsed Harris for 2024 earlier this month.
When asked how he feels about the November election, Putin said that alleged President Joe Biden had recommended his supporters to back Harris; "Firstly, Biden recommended all his supporters support Mrs Harris. We will do the same, we will support her too.”
The reasoning, obviously, is that Harris would be weaker on Russia than Trump, which Putin himself essentially said in explaining his endorsement.
"She laughs so expressively and infectiously that it means that everything is fine with her," said Putin, smiling wryly.
He elaborated that a Harris administration was likely to refrain from additional sanctions on Russia, noting that Trump had introduced more sanctions against Russia than anyone in the White House before him.
Putin had previously said he prefers Biden in the 2024 election before he dropped out after suffering one of the most humiliating debate performances in U.S. history, if not the most. Putin said that Biden was “better for Russia” than Trump - despite his government shoveling money to Ukraine, which does say a lot about how weak Biden was.
