New Poll in West Virginia Shows GOP Challenger Morrisey Taking the Lead

A new poll, commissioned by the National Republican Senatorial Committee, shows Republican challenger Patrick Morrisey taking the lead over incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Manchin in a key Senate race in West Virginia.
Morrisey, the current state Attorney General, now leads his Democratic opponent 44 to 42 percent with Libertarian candidate Rusty Hollen with 3 percent, leaving 12 percent undecided.
Since the nomination of Justice Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Republican candidates have seen a surge in enthusiasm from their base. Despite this surge, the West Virginia race remains extremely close and President Trump has fully endorsed Morrisey for Senate.

After his endorsement, the race became a lot closer and now we see Donald Trump Jr. on the trail for Morrisey to clinch the win.
It’s time to replace Liberal Joe Manchin with someone who’ll stand with @realDonaldTrump when it actually matters…. not just when you have the vote already. Vote Morrisey on Nov 6th! #wvsen #wv
