The president took to Twitter today and thanked Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and her “squad” for the jump in approval.

He wrote, “New Poll: The Rasmussen Poll, one of the most accurate in predicting the 2016 Election, has just announced that “Trump” numbers have recently gone up by four points, to 50%. Thank you to the vicious young Socialist Congresswomen. America will never buy your act! #MAGA2020″

President Trump has been battling Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) ever since Sunday when he tweeted that the lawmakers should help fix other countries in ruin before “viciously” telling the United States how to run its government:

So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

The four Congresswomen jumped at the chance to respond to President Trump and couldn’t resist calling him racist and calling  for his impeachment.

Rep. Pressley wrote on Twitter,  “THIS is what racism looks like. WE are what democracy looks like. And we’re not going anywhere. Except back to DC to fight for the families you marginalize and vilify everyday.”

Meanwhile, Rep. Tlaib called Trump a “a lawless & complete failure of a President” who “needs to be impeached.”
