On Wednesday, it was announced that a postal service mail carrier in New Jersey was arrested and charged for allegedly throwing out 98 mail-in ballots that were supposed to go to Essex County residents.
The mail carrier, Nicholas Beauchene, was charged with one count of delay, secretion, or detention of mail and one count of obstruction of mail, according to NJ.com.
The criminal complaint alleges that “nearly 2,000 pieces of mail, including 99 general election ballots destined for residents in West Orange and hundreds of campaign flyers for local elections, were recovered from dumpsters in North Arlington and West Orange on Oct. 2 and Oct. 5.”
President Trump is absolutely correct here, and has been warning about this for months now.
We have witnessed time and time again, and over the course of numerous elections that mail-in voting has the potential to be riddled with fraud.
