Former President Barack Obama named a hypothetical "Uncle Joe" as an example of a loved family member that everyone knows isn't all there mentally, and isn't given any responsibilities. The name choice was notable, as he might as well have been describing Joe Biden.

“We all know some folks in our lives who - we don’t wish them ill will. They say crazy stuff … ‘Well, you know, Uncle Joe, you know what happened to him.’ They’re part of the family but you don’t give them serious responsibilities” Obama said at a campaign event with Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock ahead of next week's Senate runoff election vs. Republican challenger Herschel Walker.

Obama had just been making a comparison between Walker and a stereotypical "crazy" uncle, which led to the "Uncle Joe" example. Given that Obama is rumored to have once encouraged people not to "Underestimate Joe's ability to f--- things up," if this is indeed a freudian slip, we know exactly who he's talking about.
