After increasing by 500,000 new users in the last two days in the wake of Twitter’s mass censorship and suspension of conservative content, Parler, the free speech social media alternative, hit number one in the Apple App Store’s News section on Friday.

Parler CEO John Matze posted a parlay celebrating the feat:
“This is our victory as a community for free speech over the tech tyrants. This is a symbol that we want a Town Square for free discussion. We the people do not want to be told what to think, we do not want to be manipulated, and we want our data to be private. We reject technofascism and those who think they are the sole arbiters of truth. We reject their biased editorial panels, we reject their “fact checkers” and we reject censorship.”
Yesterday, we reported that due to Parler’s growth and threat to the Leftist tech tyranny, the media is stepping up their attacks. RedState reports that liberal sites such as Yahoo and the Independent both said that Parler is a hub for neo-Nazis and white supremacists, as well as the “far-right” (which is a meaningless term).
Expect it to continue as Parler keeps growing, and take it as a compliment. If the Left hates you, you’re doing the right thing.
