Portland Police Investigate ANTIFA Death Threat Against Mayor Ted Wheeler Following Crack Down

Fight tech tyranny. Join Dan on Rumble.

After allowing ANTIFA to run wild in Portland last year, Mayor Ted Wheeler FINALLY started drawing some lines in the sand last week. It only took him a year of lawlessness to get where Republicans were right from the beginning.

Well, ANTIFA was unsurprisingly displeased that Wheeler is starting to insist on law and order. The response was a public death threat that included Wheeler’s address.

“Ted, we are asking for the last time that you resign. If you ignore this message outright, the destruction to your precious way of life is going to escalate. Blood is already on your hands, Ted. The next time, it may just be your own.”

The Portland police are not only investigating the complaint, they have quite appropriately notified the FBI. After all the violence, the threats, and lawlessness in Portland, could the FBI perhaps get involved in what could fairly be called an “insurrection” in Portland or are they still spending all their time trying to track down hapless mope #323 who walked into the Capitol Building on Jan 6th and posted pictures of it on social media? If we’re all equal under the law, how does ANTIFA keep getting endless passes for attacking government buildings and now making death threats against government officials?

Of course, it’s hard to feel sorry for Wheeler in this situation because ANTIFA is his own little Frankenstein monster. Granted, he didn’t create ANTIFA, but he made excuses for them, he covered for them and he prevented the police from dealing with them for a year. It would have been easy to shut down ANTIFA in Portland at first. After letting them run wild for so long, they are not going to be inclined to give up just like that. Moreover, after a year of norm-breaking and liberals trying to one-up each other in the Portland “Woke Olympics,” there will be prominent liberals that side with ANTIFA against the mayor. Dealing with ANTIFA will be ten times more difficult than it would have been at the start and you know what? Portland may not have been a good example, but maybe they can at least be an example for other cities of what NOT TO DO. That would have some value.
