President Trump Slams Joe Biden for Radical Abortion Views
On Monday, in an interview with EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo, President Donald Trump slammed Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, saying he is the real pro-life candidate.
Lifenews.com reports that Arroyo asked Trump about the claims some Catholics are making that although Biden strongly supports legalized abortion, he is the true pro-life candidate because he opposes the death penalty.
The President disputed the claim, directing to the examples of judges Democrats have historically appointed to the Supreme Court, where they have, from the bench, staunchly defended the mythical Constitutional right to murder unborn babies at any point of pregnancy, even at taxpayer expense.
Trump said, “I’m pro-life, he’s not. And the Democrats — look who he’s putting on the court.
“They want to put people on the court- you have no chance. So I’m pro-life, the Democrats aren’t. Nobody can say that Biden is, look at his stance over the years,” Trump continued. He also said that, in his view, Democrat operatives will push a pro-abortion agenda should Biden win in November.
Trump also compared Biden to Virginia governor Ralph Northam, who defended post-birth abortion last year on a radio show, saying “[L]ook at the governor of Virginia, look at what he did. He did an execution after. You know, normally you talk about late-term, his wasn’t late-term, his was, the baby was born, and then you can execute the baby. That’s the Democrats. That’s Joe Biden.”
Trump is correct. Biden has said that he supports codifying Roe v. Wade as an actual law, as opposed to a (vapidly flawed) Supreme Court opinion. He has also said that he will “reverse the Trump administration and states’ all-out assault on women’s right to choose.” There are many other examples of Biden’s radical abortion policies.
Trump, on the other hand, is the first sitting President to attend and address the annual March for Life in person. He has also executively defunded Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the United States, by finalizing the Protect Life Rule, which redirected Title X family planning program funds away from the abortion industry. Many examples of Trump’s pro-life accomplishments can be found here.
The choices this November couldn’t be clearer.
