President Trump’s Doctor Says He’s Recovering Without Symptoms
President Donald Trump was discharged from Walter Reed Hospital last night and made his way back to the White House to the dismay of many liberals.
Upon leaving the hospital Trump told the American public not to let fear of the coronavirus consume their lives. Trump also said that he feels better than he did twenty years ago.
The latter comment unquestionably reflects some of the truthful hyperbole that Trump is known for, but his doctors have confirmed that Trump is now feeling at least as good as he did before contracting the virus.
According to Fox News:
President Trump’s physician, Dr. Sean Conley, announced Tuesday afternoon the president “reports no symptoms” of the novel coronavirus after doctors discharged Trump from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center the previous evening. Meanwhile, White House Physician Jesse Schonau said that Vice President Pence continues to test negative for the virus and “does not need to quarantine.”
“This morning the President’s team of physicians met with him in the Residence. He had a restful first night at home, and today he reports no symptoms,” Conley wrote in a memo to White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who herself has tested positive for the coronavirus. “Vital signs and physical exam remain stable, with an ambulatory oxygen saturation level of 95-97%. Overall he continues to do extremely well, I will provide updates as we know more.”
Meanwhile, liberals in the media are currently apoplectic that President Trump told people now to let the virus he overcame in a matter of days dominate their lives.
Of course, we all know that the media plays a “heads I win, tails you lose” game with everything Trump does. Had Trump instead told people that he thinks people should take the virus more seriously now, their spin would be something along the lines of “Trump didn’t take the coronavirus seriously until it affected him.”
