Yesterday, following the New York AG report substantiating the sexual harassment allegations of 11 women against Governor Andrew Cuomo, Joe Biden called for him to resign. Months ago Biden said he’d be calling for Cuomo’s resignation if the AG report confirmed the allegations against him, which it did.
While one might be tempted to applaud Biden’s comments, if Cuomo refuses to resign, we all know that 100% of the Democrats who called for his resignation will simply go silent on the matter. We already saw that happen when the allegations against Cuomo initially surfaced.
As for Biden specifically, he should also be stepping down by his own standards. Psaki was just asked about the numerous allegations against Biden, and is standard, her response didn’t provide us with much of a real answer:
Of note, prior to being selected as VP, Kamala Harris said that she believed Biden’s accusers. No word on if she still believes them.
