RNC Launches ‘Stop the Madness’ Anti-Impeachment Campaign to Bring ‘Chaos’ to Dems
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her caucus are chomping at the bit (again) to try to unearth any explanation to impeach Trump. The Republican National Committee is firing back. They have launched a national counter-impeachment campaign called “Stop the Madness” Fox News has learned. The intent is to target House Democrats and vowing to cause “chaos” in response to the impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
RNC RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox “Democrats promised to reach across the aisle and work with President Trump and Republicans to serve the American people, but instead are now pushing their hyper-partisan impeachment agenda…Enough is enough; Americans are sick and tired of these witch hunts.”
As part of the campaign, the RNC launched the website stopthemadness.gop which officials say will be “used to target House Democrats for their ‘extreme actions.” McDaniel said, “We are going to hold Democrats accountable for their ridiculous charade and remind voters that their Democrat representative turned their back on them.”
RNC spokesman Rick Gorka said “The website is going to be a one-stop-shop for activists and supporters of President Trump across the country to get information on our efforts to cause chaos within the Democratic Party” and a place where supporters fight “back on this impeachment craziness.”
Gorka said in an interview, “From California to Maine, and everywhere in between, we have dedicated communications and political staff whose sole focus is to drive voter engagement in those districts…This will be a battle in the streets, online, on the airwaves – we have all of the tools at our disposal.”
