Senator Proudly Describes How She Lectured 8th Graders on their Abortion Rights

Hawaii Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono proudly described how she lectured a group of eighth-grade students on their abortion rights.

Speaking yesterday at a rally in Washington, D.C., Hirono said, “I just left 60 eighth-graders from a public school in Hawaii and i told them I was coming to a rally in front of the Supreme Court and they said “why,” and I said…because we have to fight for abortion rights and they knew all about it.”

β€œI asked the girls among the eighth-graders, β€˜How many of you think that the government should be telling us women when and if we want to have babies?’ And not a single one of them raised their hands.”

She then turned to the boys int he classroom and said, β€œ…it’s kind of hard to get pregnant without you guys.”
