Reactions to the death Rush Limbaugh poured in Wednesday after the Conservative icon lost his year long battle with lung cancer.
“Rest in peace to the tireless voice for freedom and the conservative movement Rush Limbaugh,” said Sen Ted Cruz. “I’m praying for the entire Limbaugh family.”

Former President Trump even called live into Fox News to pay tribute to Limbaugh.
“Rush is irreplaceable, unique. He had an audience that was massive. … He would get up in the show and just talk. He wouldn’t take phone calls, where people would call in every two minutes. That’s sort of easy to do. He would just talk for two hours or three hours, just talk,” Trump said. “That’s not an easy thing to do. I once asked him, I said, ‘Do you study for the show?’ He said, ‘Actually, I study very hard,’ which a little bit surprised me. He was a fantastic man, a fantastic talent. People, whether they loved him or not, they respected him. They really did.”
But not everyone too the opportunity to celebrate Limbaugh’s life, with some commenters taking the opportunity to throw one last parting shot at the radio host, and remind us that they’re all ghouls.
“Rush Limbaugh died, who cares, he was a racist, sexist, homophobic, hypocritical bigot that is responsible for emboldening people like Donald Trump,” said one commenter. “I can’t feel bad for someone like that. I do feel relieved for all the people he’s harmed over the years finally getting closure.”

“Rush Limbaugh helped create today’s polarized America by normalizing racism, bigotry, misogyny and mockery. He was a demagogue who got rich off of hate speech, division, lies and toxicity,” added another. “That is his legacy.”

There are literally thousands of other sinister comments from liberals in positions of power mocking Rush’s passing – but we see no reason to overwhelm the reader with nastiness on such a sad day by including more of them.
