Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price is already facing a recall campaign after assuming office just months ago on January 2nd of this year.

Price received $550,000 in backing from George Soros’ California Justice & Public Safety when she ran for DA in 2018 but lost that election, a rarity for Soros-backed local candidates. She ran again in 2022 and won.

Like all prosecutors that have attracted Soros cash, Price sees criminals as victims of society, and views prison as an absolute last resort, instead favoring questionable “diversion programs.” Despite being a prosecutor, Price believes her job is to keep as many people out of prison.

She quickly came under fire for her handling of countless violent cases. Price refused to charge a 17-year-old convicted killer who murdered a man in a road rage incident as an adult, dropped two of three murder charges against a man (who ended up getting a plea for only 12 years for “manslaughter”), and refused to add gun and gang enhancement to murder charges against gang members charged with killing a five-year-old girl - amid countless other acts of progressive insanity.

After months of ignoring requests for interviews, Price finally sat down with a local CBS affiliate for a surreal interview in which she complained that the families of murder victims didn’t appreciate her enough, telling reporter Betty Yu: “I feel … definitely my heart goes out to the people who have lost loved ones in this community. Who is … we at the District Attorney’s office are very very committed to making sure that we’re providing the best services. Some people are … are not able to actually appreciate the work that we do.”

That and the rest of the interview left no question as to why it was that Price previously dodged them. At one point in the interview, one of Price’s PR people intervened during the interview to try to prod the CBS interviewer to ask Price about her supposed accomplishments to take time away from Price incoherently defending her fact-free policies.

Price’s PR person eventually ended the interview early.

“Moving forward I hope we’ll have more access to you,” Wu said as the interview concluded.

“I doubt it, quite frankly,” Price replied, laughing.
