According to a source at Comcast, MSNBC’s chief race baiting host Joy Reid (who gaslights us with even her first name) is on the network’s chopping block.
News Cycle Media’s Jon Nicosia broke the story yesterday afternoon. “Source @ Comcast: “Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.” – “She does not have a show come mid Spring” – The “decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings” he wrote in a tweet. He added that “As was the case with Chris Cuomo at CNN, Reid has allies at Comcast, however, she is now viewed as ‘unmanageable’ by many. Also, similar to Cuomo, it appears those allies have found out she has been ‘less than truthful about past incidents'” (presumably a reference to her faux-blog hacking scandal).

In response to the news, CNN’s Brian Stelter said a MSNBC rep had denied the rumor.
According to Nielsen data, Reid’s show has lost more than half it’s audience from the beginning of 2021 through November. The show maintains a dismal 3.1/10 rating on IMDB.
The news of her potential termination was largely met with glee – though some feared the end of the show would amount to the loss of a major comedic source for the right.
