Abrams: GA Bill Saving Babies from Abortion is “Evil,” “Bad for Business”

Fight tech tyranny. Join Dan on Rumble.

Failed Georgia 2018 Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams said her state’s pro-life “Heartbeat” bill– which would ban abortions after six weeks unless the pregnancy was conceived through rape or incest–is “evil” and “bad for business.”

Speaking to MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Sunday, Abrams said “We’ve seen governors across the country saying, ‘You can bring your jobs here. Georgia has to realize [that] while we are enjoying an extraordinary boom in the film industry, there’s nothing that says it has to stay here. We have to be friendly to businesses and to the women who work in businesses.”

You should not have to worry about controlling your bodily autonomy because the governor has pushed such an abominable and evil bill that is so restrictive,” she said. “It’s not only bad for morality and our humanity — it’s bad for business.”

Actress Alyssa Milano is leading the charge against the state of Georgia, threatening a Hollywood boycott if Governor Brian Kemp signs the bill into law.

The actress recently sent a letter signed by 50 celebrities to Kemp and Georgia House Speaker David Ralston threatening them with the loss of “billions of billions of dollars” if H.B. 481 becomes law.

“As actors, our work often brings us to Georgia. We’ve always found your state to be populated with friendly and caring people,” she writes. ”We’ve been glad to bring millions of dollars in revenue to support Georgia’s schools, parks and communities. But we cannot in good conscience continue to recommend our industry remain in Georgia if H.B. 481 becomes law.”
