A stunning new poll released Sunday night shows the GOP candidate in Georgia’s gubernatorial race taking a major lead; opening up an 11 point advantage over his Democratic opponent just 24 hours before voters head to the polls.
The survey -published by the Trafalgar Group – has GOP candidate Brian Kemp garnering 54% of the vote compared with Stacey Abrams 40%.
The remainder of those asked are still undecided.
The same poll also shows 52% of Georgia voters approve of President Trump’s job performance with 43% disapproving of the Commander-in-Chief.
The survey comes just days after Abrams made national headlines when she claimed during a campaign rally that undocumented workers and illegal immigrants were part of the “blue wave” predicted for Election Day.
