The film, about former Planned Parenthood worker turned pro-life activist Abby Johnson was expected to take in only $2-3 million and instead made $6.1 million in its box office debut, taking 5th place.
PJ Media reported yesterday that 99k of the films 100k Twitter followers mysteriously disappeared by Sunday–and at one point, the account dropped to just 151 followers.
As of 1:42 p.m. ET today, the account had over 265k followers.
The film’s Twitter account was also briefly suspended on Saturday, just hours after its debut.

The film overcame many hurdles after receiving a surprise “R” rating by the Motion Picture Association of America and most television networks refused to air advertisements for the movie.
“The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime, and media properties owned by the Discovery conglomerate are among the organizations that rejected the movie’s advertisements. The movie’s producers says that Fox News Channel is the only mainstream media outlet to have accepted its advertisements,” writes the Washington Examiner.
