resident Trump joined Fox News’ Sean Hannity yesterday at the Texas-Mexico border where he reiterated his right to declare a national emergency at the border and slammed Democrats for playing politics with border wall funding.
“We have the absolute right to declare a national emergency,” he said. “This is security stuff. This is a national emergency if you look at whats happening…and you just heard the statement they came in last week or this week from Pakistan…[border patrol] got them.”
The President blasted Democrats for playing politics, telling Hannity that the border wall “would be virtually 100 percent effective and Nancy and Chuck know that but it’s politics. It’s about the 2020 campaign. It’s about running for president….it’s a shame. We’ve got to put the country first.
onservative radio and television host Mark Levin slammed Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) after their response to President Trump’s address to the nation last night.
Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Levin said, “Let’s keep a few things in mind when you watch Schumer and Pelosi, they are pathological liars. They have been in Congress over half a century. What the hell have they done about the border? They are part of the scam artists. They get amnesty, legalization, citizenship, and never secure the border.”
“Just spend billions and trillions more, more debt, more deficits on the redistribution of wealth, on $200 billion a year on illegal aliens,” he said. “One more time they fooled Reagan. They fooled Bush 41. They fooled Bush 43. But they are not going to fool Donald Trump who’s dealt with tougher than Pelosi and Schumer.”
Levin also praised Trump’s speech, telling Hannity it was “concise” and “truly compassionate.”
“He provided the context both in terms of what’s going on in the border, the expense, which is de minimis and who is really responsible,” he said.
irst Lady Melania Trump sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity yesterday and gave a wide ranging interview where she discussed her support for the U.S. military and their families, her relationship with President Trump and slammed “opportunists” in the media who use her family’s name to advance their own agendas.
The First Lady made history yesterday when she flew in a V-22 Osprey aircraft on her way to visit military members and their families at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, and Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA.
Mrs. Trump also spent time on the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush where she spoke with Hannity about the importance of visiting with the military families.
“I wanted to come and visit military families and also the servicemen and women,” she said. “It’s very important that we support them. Holidays are coming. Not many of them they will be with their families. So for me it’s very important to show them that the president and I and the country where we are behind them.”
Mrs. Trump also discussed her relationship with the president, telling Hannity they had “great chemistry” when they met in 1998.
When asked what was the hardest thing she’s had to deal with since becoming first lady, Mrs. Trump replied, “I would say the opportunists. Using my name or my family name to advance themselves from comedians to journalists to performers, book writers…The problem is they are writing the history and it’s not correct.”
ean Hannity ripped
into the latest New York Times “bombshell” report that President Trump would like to see Hillary Clinton and former FBI Director James Comey prosecuted by the Department of Justice.
The report states:
President Trump told the White House counsel in the spring that he wanted to order the Justice Department to prosecute two of his political adversaries: his 2016 challenger, Hillary Clinton, and the former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, according to two people familiar with the conversation.
“Does that sound like breaking news to you?” Hannity asked last night.
“Because it isn’t, it shouldn’t, and because we know how the president feels about Hillary and Comey, and we know Hillary committed crimes,” he said. “It’s not even in dispute.”
Watch Hannity obliterate the New York Times and the pandering liberal media:
he ongoing feud between Sean Hannity and Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) has quickly escalated.
While the relationship between the two men hasn’t been cozy in the era of Trump, things got very hostile this week after excerpts of Sasse’s new book trashing Hannity surfaced, accusing him of not being a conservative and that his “core cause is to rage.”
Hannity: “I know you are a con artist and phony”
Sasse later challenged Hannity to a debate.
Well, not only did the #1 host on cable accepted the challenge, Hannity went on the offense:
