According to Fox News:
The buses arrived at Chicago's Union Station at around 7:30 p.m., carrying migrants who crossed the southern border illegally.
An estimated 80 to 100 people were on the buses, including 20 to 30 small children. Many of the migrants said they were from Venezuela.
Gov. Abbott said in a statement "Mayor Lightfoot loves to tout the responsibility of her city to welcome all regardless of legal status, and I look forward to seeing this responsibility in action as these migrants receive resources from a sanctuary city w/ capacity to serve them."
First Texas bus of migrants has arrived in Chicago.

Biden's inaction at our border puts Texans at risk & is overwhelming our communities.
We'll continue bussing migrants to sanctuary cities like NYC, DC, & now Chicago until the federal gov't does its job & secures the border. pic.twitter.com/RccsdIOXiI
Lightfoot has since responded in typical fashion for a leftist by calling Abbott racist.
Despite claiming to be sanctuaries, NYC and D.C.'s Mayors have been less than enthused about the recent influx of migrants into their cities, which they're struggling to provide for. D.C.'s Mayor Muriel Bowser twice requested help from the National Guard (both of which were rejected), while NYC Mayor Eric Adams has said it's serious enough that he's considered going down to Texas to knock door to door and campaign against Gov. Abbott.
Oddly, neither of them hold the Biden administration's border policies responsible as the root cause of the problem at hand here, only Gov. Abbott for reacting to them.
